Want to work for us?

Working at the Magpie Project is never boring and it is not often easy either. A mum and mini-centred, trauma-informed environment means compromise, chaos, noise and frequent change. Your professional boundaries, emotional awareness, and humanity will be tested daily, and you will need to bring your best self to work every day.

But the rewards are extraordinary. You will be able to see the difference you are making to people’s lives on a daily basis. You will have the honour of fighting alongside and for incredible women and children for the services to which they are entitled, and the opportunities which they deserve.

You will be offered mentoring, training, continuing professional development, support and supervision, emergency emotional support, alongside unconditional positive regard.
